He received his Ph.D. degree in Industrial Science from Kumamoto University, Kumamoto, Japan, in 2004. He is currently the Professor of the School of Automation, Chongqing University, Chongqing, China. Dr. Liang is currently a senior member of the IEEE and a member of The Society of Instrument and Control Engineers.
